The ad creative studio: find what is winning, recreate it as a video, review it, upload it to every platform
TL;DR
The ad creative studio takes one goal from competitor research to an uploaded video ad: search Meta, TikTok and Google ad libraries for what is running, recreate a chosen ad from your own material, review the result, and upload a version each platform accepts.
The four steps
- 1Spy. One search reads the Meta, TikTok and Google ad libraries (all three since 28 September) and keeps only ads whose own copy is about your subject. TikTok publishes its ad library only for the EU, EEA and UK, so a US search also reads TikTok's top-ads leaderboard for the market. You pick which ad to recreate — the agent asks rather than choosing for you.
- 2Recreate. A coding agent builds the video in an isolated sandbox from your own assets, using the reference only as a reference. Every video gets background music: your own track, else one generated for this ad, else one composed in the sandbox.
- 3Review. A model watches and listens to the result and scores it — hook, pacing, music, voice clarity, mix — and checks the measured file against each target platform's rules.
- 4Upload. Before an upload, the file is checked against that platform's specification; a platform that refuses the shape gets a version made for it.
The platform rules it works to
- One table of real specifications — aspect ratios, minimum and maximum length, file size, codecs, safe zones — each sourced from the platform's own spec page. TikTok's limit is its ad policy's 5–60 seconds, not the 10 minutes its spec page allows organic video.
- A file that already fits is uploaded unchanged. A recommendation it misses is reported, never silently "fixed" — an approved creative is not altered behind your back.
- Measured on real accounts: uploads to Meta, LinkedIn, DV360 and Campaign Manager 360 returned ready assets; no ad or campaign was created in the test.
Cost and approvals
- A video is estimated before it starts, and a workspace that cannot cover the estimate is told before anything runs. It is billed what it actually measured when it finishes. Today's numbers are on credits by task type.
- Stopping the task stops the video, and bills only the work done.
- Every upload and create on an ad platform is an approval step: it waits for you by default, and only applies on its own if you turn on auto-approve. Making the video itself changes nothing on a platform.
Frequently asked questions
- Can an AI agent make a video ad from a competitor's ad?
- It uses the competitor's ad as a reference, not as material: it finds what is running in the Meta, TikTok and Google ad libraries, you pick one, and a coding agent builds a new video from your own assets with its own music.
- Why does a US TikTok ad library search return nothing?
- TikTok publishes its Commercial Content Library only under the EU Digital Services Act — for the EU, EEA and UK. A US search returns UNSUPPORTED_REGION, so the studio reads TikTok's top-ads leaderboard for the US instead.
- Will the uploaded video meet TikTok, Meta and LinkedIn specs?
- It is checked against each platform's own specification before upload. A file that fits is uploaded unchanged; a platform that refuses its shape gets a version made for that platform.
