Microsoft Clarity: an agent finds the landing pages that lose your traffic
TL;DR
Microsoft Clarity is now a connected platform: five reads and no writes, one Data Export token per project. The agent works inside Clarity's own limits — the last 1–3 days, 10 requests per project per day, up to 3 breakdowns and 1,000 rows — reuses answers so repeated questions cost nothing, and says when data is missing or may be incomplete.
Connect it
- 1In the Clarity project, a project admin opens Settings → Data Export → Generate new API token.
- 2On Integrations, press Connect a project on the Microsoft Clarity card, name the project, paste the token and press Check and save.
- 3Repeat for each project. Pick the project in the context picker and ask, for example: "Which landing pages had the most rage clicks or quick backs in the last 3 days?"
What the agent can do
- Report: sessions, bot sessions, users, pages per session, scroll depth, engagement time and the friction signals (dead clicks, rage clicks, quick backs, excessive scrolling, script errors, error clicks), by page, source, medium, campaign, channel, device, country, browser or OS.
- Landing-page opportunities: pages ranked by friction, with the thresholds stated and what to look at on each page.
- Traffic quality: how visitors from each source, campaign or channel behaved — read beside the ad platforms' clicks.
Clarity's limits, stated up front
- The last 1, 2 or 3 days only. Longer ranges are not available through Clarity's API; the agent points to the Clarity dashboard.
- 10 requests per project per day, shared by everyone who connected the project. Answers are kept for two hours; when the day's requests are used up, the newest saved answer is used and labelled with the time it was read.
- One token, one project. A token is never assumed to reach another project, and Replace token refuses a token from a different one.
- Read-only: nothing on your site or in Clarity is changed.

Frequently asked questions
- Can an AI agent read Microsoft Clarity?
- Yes. Connect each Clarity project with its Data Export token and the agent reads traffic, engagement and friction signals for the last 1–3 days and ranks the landing pages to fix first. It is read-only.
- How many Clarity requests does the agent use?
- One per question at most. Clarity allows 10 per project per day; repeats within two hours are answered from the saved copy.
