Google Analytics: property settings, annotation edits and linking several Google Ads accounts
Google Analytics has three new tools: the property's own settings, annotation edits, and linking up to 20 Google Ads accounts in one request. A fix ships with them: a write that named another property went there; now it goes only to the property you connected, or to another one connected in this workspace.
What's new
- Property settings: the reporting time zone is the day boundary of every report, so the agent reads it before it decides what "yesterday" means.
- Annotation edits: change an annotation's title, description, colour or date. Google's own system annotations cannot be edited.
- Several Google Ads links at once: up to 20 accounts, one link each (Google has no batch call), with linked, already linked or failed per account.
Fixed: writes stay in your property
A write that named a property explicitly used to be sent there, even if it was not the one you connected — one Google sign-in usually reaches many properties. It is now sent only to the connected property or another property connected in this workspace, and refused otherwise before Google is called.
A change to the property's time zone or currency now always waits for a person: Google never restates the days already collected.
Frequently asked questions
- Can an AI agent link several Google Ads accounts to a Google Analytics property?
- Yes — up to 20 in one request, one link per account, with the result for each. By default the links wait for your approval.
