AI agent for AppLovin: read Axon ads and MAX revenue in one place

TL;DR

AppLovin connects with the account's Report Key from the Keys page of the AppLovin dashboard. The agent reads AppLovin's own reports: Axon ads promoting websites and apps, and MAX mediation revenue for app publishers, by day, campaign, creative set, country, platform or placement. With the Event Key saved, it walks you through putting the Axon Pixel on your site through Google Tag Manager. With the Campaign Management key added, it also creates and edits campaigns, creative sets and assets — every new campaign starts paused, and a budget change or turning delivery on waits for a person.

Connecting it

  1. 1In the AppLovin dashboard, open your account menu → Keys and copy the Report Key (and the Event Key if you want help with the Axon Pixel).
  2. 2Open Integrations, press Connect with keys on the AppLovin card, name the account, paste the keys and press Check and save. The Report Key is checked against AppLovin's reports first, then stored encrypted.
  3. 3Pick the account in the context picker and ask, for example: "Which AppLovin campaigns had the best 7-day ROAS last week?"

What the agent reads

  • Axon ads for websites: spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, sales, checkout revenue, ROAS and cost per purchase over 0–28 day windows, new-customer and lead columns — click-through or click-and-view attribution.
  • Axon ads for apps: spend, installs, conversions, CPA, retention and ROAS windows by campaign, country and platform.
  • MAX mediation revenue: estimated revenue, eCPM, impressions, requests and fill rate by app, ad format, network, ad unit and country.
  • Campaigns that delivered in a window, ranked by spend.

AppLovin's rules, stated up front

  • Dates are UTC days. "Last 7 days" is the 7 complete UTC days ending yesterday.
  • 88 days back at most. AppLovin refuses an older start (measured: 88 days accepted, 89 refused); hour-level data covers the last 30 days.
  • US dollars. Spend and revenue come back as AppLovin reports them; nothing is converted.
  • Rolling windows. Columns such as sales_7d, chka_usd_7d and roas_7d count for 7 days after the impression, so a recent day's ROAS is still growing.
Campaign changes wait for you. With the Campaign Management key added, each change waits for your approval unless auto-approve is on; a new campaign, a budget or goal change and turning delivery on always wait for a person. AppLovin has no delete — pause is the stop. Server-side events (the Conversion API) are not supported yet.

Frequently asked questions

Does Agent Planners support AppLovin?
Yes. Connect with your Report Key and the agent reads Axon ads results for websites and apps and MAX mediation revenue; add the Campaign Management key to manage campaigns.
Can the agent change my AppLovin campaigns?
Yes, once you add the Campaign Management key and the account id on the AppLovin card. New campaigns and creative sets start paused; a budget or goal change, turning delivery on and adding creative sets to campaigns wait for a person; there is no delete.
What is the Event Key for?
It is the Axon Pixel's key. With it saved, the agent gives the Google Tag Manager steps for putting the pixel on your site. It is public by design: it sits in your site's page code.
How far back can it read?
88 days. AppLovin refuses an older start date, and hour-level data covers only the last 30 days.
