Agent Planners vs HYPD
HYPD and Agent Planners both put your ad accounts in front of an AI assistant over MCP, then diverge on the one decision that matters: HYPD does not change your accounts and Agent Planners does. Their site puts it plainly — "HYPD never changes your settings or writes data back to your accounts, except in Google Tag Manager, where changes are applied only after you approve them" — and treats that as the security argument. Agent Planners writes across 29 platforms with every write held at an approval gate. If you want analysis you can trust to be harmless, HYPD is the smaller, cheaper, simpler answer. If you want the work done, that is the thing it does not do.
What is HYPD?
HYPD positions itself as "Manage paid media with AI": a hosted MCP connector you add to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Manus or Claude Code, which gives the assistant access to your ad and analytics accounts along with PPC prompts and context. Its own framing is "human in the loop by default", it is EU-hosted, and it advertises GDPR compliance.
It connects Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics and Search Console. Read on their site, 28 September 2026 — check it, because a product this young moves.

Where HYPD is the better answer
This is not a close call in several directions, and pretending otherwise would waste your time.
- You want analysis that cannot break anything. HYPD's read-only design is a real guarantee, not a setting. Ours is an approval gate, which is a different and weaker promise: a gate depends on somebody reading the card. If the thing you need is certainty that nothing changes, they have built for that and we have not.
- Price, at every tier. Free forever with a real account, $19.99 for three, $279.99 for 250. Our Agency plan is $1,000. If you manage many accounts and mostly want reporting, the arithmetic is not close.
- EU hosting and GDPR positioning. We are US-hosted. If your procurement requires EU data residency, that settles it.
- It is already in the Claude and ChatGPT directories, so it installs in a couple of clicks. Ours is added as a custom connector with a URL and a key.
- You only run Google, Meta and LinkedIn. Twenty-seven platforms is not an advantage if you use four of them.
Where Agent Planners is different
- It does the work, not just the analysis. 487 write tools on the platforms you connect — pausing, rebalancing, building, uploading conversions — each one held at an approval gate with the before-and-after shown, and a named class (deletes, money movement, publishing) that no mode can send unattended.
- It runs when you are not there. Scheduled and autonomous runs re-read live data, act inside the spend caps and protected campaigns you set, and queue what needs a person. An MCP connector runs when you type at it.
- The warehouse is in the loop. The agent writes SQL against your own BigQuery to join ad cost with real revenue and refunds, which is the only way to get a margin-aware ROAS number rather than the platform's own.
- Breadth past paid media. DV360, CM360 and SA360, the Google publisher stack, commerce, email and CRM in the same run.
- It is also an agent, not only a connector. You can hand it a goal in its own workspace and never open Claude — or drive the same tools from Claude or Codex if you prefer.
Which should you choose?
Choose HYPD if the job is understanding your paid media and you want a hard guarantee that the tool cannot change it — particularly on Google, Meta and LinkedIn, at agency account counts, or under EU data residency.
Choose Agent Planners if the job is getting the work done across a wider stack, unattended, with an approval gate and an audit trail rather than a read-only wall. Both have a free tier, so the fastest way to decide is to point each at the same account and ask it the same question.
Frequently asked questions
- Does HYPD change my ad accounts?
- Its own site says no: "HYPD never changes your settings or writes data back to your accounts, except in Google Tag Manager, where changes are applied only after you approve them". Some third-party MCP directory listings describe broader write capability, which their homepage contradicts — trust the vendor's own page and check it before you rely on either reading.
- Is Agent Planners a HYPD alternative?
- Yes, if what you need is execution. Both expose your ad accounts to an AI assistant over MCP; Agent Planners adds 487 approval-gated write tools on the platforms you connect, scheduled and unattended runs, and BigQuery-native true ROAS. If you specifically want a tool that cannot change anything, HYPD is built for that and this is not the same product.
- HYPD vs Agent Planners on price?
- HYPD is cheaper at every tier: free forever for one account, $19.99 for three, $279.99 for up to 250. Agent Planners starts at a recurring free tier of 2,500 credits a month and $29.90 for Lite, with Agency at $1,000. The two are not priced on the same axis — theirs is per connected account, ours is per credit consumed — so compare on a week of your own work rather than on the table.
- Which platforms does HYPD support?
- Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics and Search Console, read from their site on 28 September 2026. Agent Planners covers 27, including DV360, Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, BigQuery, Shopify, Klaviyo, HubSpot and Stripe.
- Can I use both?
- Yes, and it is a reasonable setup. They are both MCP servers, so one assistant can hold both connections at once — HYPD for read-only analysis on the platforms it covers, Agent Planners for the platforms it does not and for anything that has to actually change.
