AppLovin: connect with your Report Key and read Axon ads and MAX
TL;DR
AppLovin connects with keys, not a sign-in: the Report Key reads the account's reports and the Event Key is used to set the Axon Pixel up. Six report tools; with the Campaign Management key, five campaign reads and twelve approval-gated writes. Server-side events (the Conversion API) are not supported yet.
Connect
- 1In the AppLovin dashboard open your account menu → Keys. Copy the Report Key; copy the Event Key too if you want help with the Axon Pixel.
- 2On Integrations, press Connect with keys on the AppLovin card, name the account (AppLovin's reports do not name it), paste the keys and press Check and save. The Report Key is checked against the three reports (websites, apps, MAX) before it is saved; the card shows which ones it reads.
- 3Check keys checks the stored Report Key again; Replace keys swaps them in place (a regenerated key stops working at once); Remove deletes the stored keys here.

Over MCP and the REST API the names are applovin__<tool> (for example applovin__report).
AppLovin's rules
- Dates are UTC days. "Last 7 days" is the 7 complete UTC days ending yesterday.
- 88 days back at most. AppLovin refuses an older start (measured: 88 days accepted, 89 refused); hour-level data covers the last 30 days.
- US dollars. Spend and revenue come back as AppLovin reports them; nothing is converted.
- Rolling windows. Columns such as sales_7d, chka_usd_7d and roas_7d count for 7 days after the impression, so a recent day's ROAS is still growing.
Campaign management
- 1In the AppLovin dashboard open your account menu → Keys and copy the Campaign Management key; open Go to settings and note the account id (the number after the account name).
- 2On the AppLovin card press Add campaign management on the account, paste both and press Check and save (one read checks them).

AppLovin has no delete or archive — pause is the stop. AppLovin blocks an account's API for 24 hours after 100 error answers in 5 minutes, so every request is checked against AppLovin's documented rules before it is sent and nothing more is sent after 30 errors in 5 minutes.
Not supported yet
- Server-side events (AppLovin's Conversion API) need a Conversion API key besides the Event Key. Until then events reach AppLovin through the Axon Pixel on your site.

- It is checked with AppLovin before it is saved, stored encrypted and never shown again or written to logs.
